The Exile is an adventure series that follows a disavowed American secret agent in Europe as he tries to clear his name. The series opens with DCS agent John Stone (Jeffrey Meek) on assignment in East Berlin with his partner Marisa (Teri Hatcher) by his side. Things go wrong after the two agents realize the KGB has set them up, and Marisa dies in John's arms. The US now believes that John killed Marissa and that he is also a double agent. John finds refuge in Europe, and sets out to find the man who framed him, so that he can return home. The only two people who believe his story is a US Consulate worker, Charles Cabot (Christian Burgess), and a city cop, Danny Montreau (Patrick Floershim), who John helps solve local crimes throughout the series. The banned agent also shares a mutual attraction with his beautiful neighbor Nadia Fares (Jacquie Decaux). Things start to heat up after John meets a defecting Russian general who knows the identity of the man who set him up.''''''
