This was the first episode of The Facts of Life that I ever saw when I was younger and I liked it so much that I started watching the show whenever it came on. It is a funny episode but also one that I would recommend parents to show to their children. Not only does it show that it is wrong to shoplift, it also can teach them not to give in to peer pressure (the reason Jo wants to shoplift is because she is embarassed of what Blair might say if their gift isn't as good as hers). THis is definitely a series classic and one not to miss.moreless
  • This episode is one of my personal favorites. I saw it on nick at nights 20th anniversary celebration on the 22nd of june. It was so good to see this episode again--it had a lot of jokes and good character written into it. It was ery funny as I remember.moreless

What a good episode!! its mrs garretts birthday so jo natalie and tootie decide to compete with blair to buy her the perfect gift. Nancy McKeon and Lisa Whelchel did a wonderful job in this episode as Jo and Blair. As did Tootie and Natalie. I really feel this was one of the funniest episodes written. The characters are so young and innocent. Lisa, Nancy, Mindy, and Kim were so good in this episode, they stole the show. I absolutely loved the jokes that were written in this episode, I found Mindy Cohn did an exceptional job in this one.moreless
