Looks like Phineas and Ferb pulled 7.6 million viewers for it's movie last night. Unsurprisingly Disney makes sure to spin as much as possible the Kids 6-11 and Tween 9-14 demos, which Disney has been able to dominate for a long time. Something interesting to note from the press release, "Moreover, "Phineas and Ferb: Across the 2nd Dimension" ranked as cable's No. 1 animated telecast in more than 3 years among Kids 6-11 and Tweens 9-14 (since 2/18/08 – "Fairly OddBaby"),"
Nice to see Fairly OddBaby still being mentioned 3 years after it's premiere. It's a bummer newer "hit" FOP specials weren't able to top that success. That type of success I was most looking forward to.
Anyone who likes some old "tv jingles" like this one dating from 1985 made by Detroit's ABC affiliate WXYZ-7 titled "Stand Up and Tell Em' You're from Detroit" (I'm not a Detroiter and I like that song) or Ford's "The Going Thing"?
and I didn't need my fairy god parents to wish it for me - I'm on top of the world right now.
I guess we might need some fairies to shake the brain of some beancounters at General Motors. GM will offer a new Caprice from police departments but not for civilians, the civilians want a GM RWD sedan too!
