Anyone's seen Gravity Falls? Such a great show.

Great show indeed. The animation is impressive too. I'm looking forward to it's premiere here in my country in September.
I'm happy Disney is producing good cartoons again. I'm a huge fan of Phineas and Ferb, and before it, the last good cartoon Disney did was Kim Possible.

I turned 21 today. They played Abra Catastrophe! on Nick today, and it was the perfect gift. I may have to check out "Gravity Falls," although it's hard for me to watch anything on Disney simply because of the commercials.

British producer Gerry Anderson, creator of Fireball XL5, Stingray, Thunderbirds, Captain Scarlet, UFO and Space 1999 passed away at the age of 83. http://www.cbc.ca/news/arts/story/2012/12/26/arts-gerry-anderson-thunderbirds-dies.html

Gerry Anderson, puppetry pioneer and British creator of the sci-fi hit Thunderbirds TV show, has died. He was 83.

Anderson's son Jamie said his father died peacefully in his sleep on Wednesday at a nursing home in Henley-on-Thames, Oxfordshire, U.K., after being diagnosed with mixed dementia two years ago.

His condition had worsened dramatically over the past six months, his son said.

Anderson's television career launched in the 1950s. Once Thunderbirds aired in the 1960s, "Thunderbirds are go!" became a catchphrase for generations. It also introduced the use of "supermarionation" — a puppetry technique using thin wires to control marionettes — and made sci-fi mainstream, according to Jamie Anderson.

"He forever changed the direction of sci-fi entertainment," Jamie said. "Lots of animation and films that have been made in the past 20 or 30 years have been inspired by the work that he did."

I've mentioned before I am now a 'semi' professional stand up comedian (that means I make money from it but not enough to live on, still have a 25-30 hour a week job as well). For real last year I had ''researchers'' from Britain's Got Talent (simply our version of America's Got Talent) on the phone trying to get me to appear on the show and this year they are at it again but I'm refusing point blank to appear.

I have my reasons, thought I'd share that.

Anyone around here watch Bates Motel?

Olivia Cooke/ Emma pulls off a greatcharacterizationof a Tootie esque-character (without the glasses). Love her character in this show! She's got lots of heart, without being unnecessarily stalkerish and is one of the strongest characters they got.

I posted on a Deviantart journal entry, an idea of a pipe-dream of a wishlist of actors for a DP live-action movie. I'd be lucky if Butch got one of these actors I mentionned. Embarassed
