Very interesting indeed......well, if they make more I guess I'll have to tune in! I can't just NOT watch it; it's been too large a part of my childhood. It is nice that they put a closure scene in though.

I second this opinion. Even if it leaves a bad aftertaste, I'm tuning in till the end.

Can't keep your chin down now! Sounds potential worthy, but we'll all just have to see.

I'm really looking forward to Meet the OddParents airing very soon. And when it comes down to it, we'll soon have our answer if FOP will stay alive for 2012. I seriously wouldn't mind waiting more than half of a year for new episodes, because things can pick up in the Fall of 2012. Maybe before then, Farm Pit can finally air and have all of the new seasons (6- aired completely. So they can head for the future with nothing else left behind.

December has also become quite the amazing month with Nickelodeon premieres. I'm excited. And plus, no new SpongeBob until January, which means other shows can have their shine.

I have been thinking about it more, and once I finish watching 'Meet the Oddparents' this Thursday, I think I'll be okay with the show ending (if it does). We'll just have to see what Nickelodeon chooses to do; give the show more episodes and a new season or let it rest in peace after 10 years.

As of now, the show aired 10 shorts and 127 1/2 episodes; including 7 movies, the Jimmy-Timmy Power Hour Trilogy (3 one hour long movies), and a live action film. The show is even #2 to me overall in Nicktoons history on Nickelodeon. I really don't think any other new TV Show will take its place in the ranks; we just know that SpongeBob will be #1 worldwide in popularity.

Personally, the Fairly OddParents has served my child hood well, watching since the shorts and Season 1, I've loved watching this show. But it has to end sometime. I was grateful it didn't end when Jimmy Neutron ended.

Only time will tell. And we'll get our answer soon.

That was an awesome and sweet episode. It was great to see both Timmy's parents and his godparents hang out together with Timmy and grant wishes. Timmy's Dad was also very considerate to wish up an engagement ring for Mom that he lost.

It's good to see that Jorgen was okay with washing their memories of Cosmo, Wanda and Poof , so Timmy can keep his fairies. But of course, it did feel predicable.

And it was awfully nice of Timmy to wish up the ring back for his parents, after Jorgen wished away the wishes they made as a family. And to include Timmy's fishes as a family (aka, Cosmo, Wanda and Poof) was a very touching part at the end. It made a nice signature to how the 5 of them spent the episode together.

It does seem like a nice closure, and how we got to see how Timmy's Parents met his godparents. Of course, it also felt like it could continue.

Whatever Nickelodeon decides to do, I'm all for it.

Also, did anybody notice Vicky's head gag was Dudley Puppy from TUFF Puppy? Kinda foreshadowing that the show is taking over it's spot on Nick.

What an awesome episode! After everything that has happened, Jorgen still allowed Timmy to keep his godparents. Pretty cool of him.

Well it could have been better

For a regular FOP episode, it was above average

But for the LAST possible FOP episode, it was underwhelming.

^I figured that's what most people would say about it. That's why I didn't watch it....I watched re-runs of other stuff instead.

I know it doesn't mean too much, but the Fairly OddParents characters do feature in a Nickelodeon's commercial for 2012.

I know it's a cartoon you would think that with a wish that big that it would have been both Cosmo and Wanda that granted the wish.

    1. Since when is only one fairy able to stop time?

    2. How did Timmy get Cosmo to agree to grant said wish in the first place?

    3. His wish was for everyone to stop aging wouldn't that cause overpopulation?
