Well I thought of making a new topic of showing my opinions of the episodes and the seasons of FOP.

Here's my list and It's just my opinion:

    Season 1: Excellent

    Season 2: Very good

    Season 3: Good ( about 2 or 3 episodes weremediocre )

Season 4: Slightly downhill, but still decent ( about 4 or 5 episodes sort of sucked, but okay )

Season 5: Noticeably downhill ( Some episodes good, some bad especially Timmy's 2D house of horror and It's a wishful life )

Season 6: Seriously downhill ( only about 5 or 6 episodes are good. BTW, wishology was okay 5.5/10. Only about 1 or 2 episodes are great )

Season 7: Probably the worst so far ( Only fremeny mine or wishing well or the other two episodes were good )

Season 8: I hope this season would be awesome and the season finale

Top best episodes ( each season in IMO and what I watche. No joke; No potshots )

    Season one: every episode

    Season two: Boy toy ( 8/10 ), Totally spaced out ( 8/10 ), the switch glitch ( 8.5/10 ), Deja Vu ( 10/10 ), and two more......

    Season three: Love struck ( 8/10 ), Abra-Catastrophe ( 9/10 ), So totally spaced out ( 8.4/10 ), Snow bound ( 6.5/10; not the best, but sweet ), Kung Timmy ( 7.5/10 ), and MicroPhony ( 8.5/10 ).

    Season four: Baby face ( 9/10 ), Home Wrecker ( 7.6/10 ), Channel Chasers ( 8.5/10 ), New squid in town ( 9/10 ), Schools out the musical ( 8/10 ), andTruth or Cosmoquences ( 7.5/10 )

Season five: Presto Change-O ( 8/10 ), well that about it.

    Season six: Wishing Well ( 7/10 ) and Dread n Breakfast ( 8.6/10 )

Season seven: none ( only about two or three episodes are decent )

Now the worst in each season ( again only IMO, free to disagree and I'm sorry if I hurt your feelings )

    Season one: none

Season two: none ( yes! )

Season three: none ( despite two boring, but worth it parts )

Season four: Odd Couple ( 4/10; the plot is awful, the ending sucked ), Class Clown ( 5/10 ; plot sucked ), Crash Nubula ( 5/10 ; Storyline is lame, the characters nearly sucked, the dialogue is horrible, and the ending was a fail ), and just the two of us ( 3/10; worst characterexaggerationof Trixie so far, the ending was a fail).

Season five ( Oh s**t ): Timmy's 2D house of horror and It's a wishful life ( 4/10; plot's horrible, dialogue sucks, characters nearly got worse, bashing on Timmy with the most unthinkable even if it was a test ), The Jimmy Timmy power hour 2 and 3 ( 6.5/10; not really that bad but up to that point almost every concept were poorly written )

You know what's the sad part about this? I still have two seasons to go.

Season six ( This will really hurt for some views, so feel free to disagree, but don't bash in me, please. it's just my opinion ):

Hairicane ( 2.5/10; Story is bad, characters are more shallow, dialogue was the worst of all )

Open wide and say Aaagh! ( 4/10; unnessary bad speaking roles, horrible dialogue , boring, and shocking of all the character exaggeration of Vicky is worse after season 5 and before season 7 and so, her character exaggeration was so bad that it went as far to nearly andpurposelymurder Timmy Turner slowly. Overall, it was almost crass with that part. )

Oddpirates ( 5/10; almost the same except with poof, different storyline, and dialogue )

    Vicky get fired ( 3/10 ; you'll see... )

    And finally......

Season 7: Add-a-dad ( 5/10; so cliche, boring, and almostunorganized. Not bad, but been there been that )

Super Zero ( 2/10; Now they're Cosmo like crap in a unthinkable way and he turn into a hero.... )

Stupid Cupid ( 2.5/10; Since the writers got worse or after wishology, Trixie was more brutal to Timmy and allowed to treat Timmy like trash again. Plot's horrible; and everything else is downright crap ).

Take and Fake ( 3/10; This is a nightmare.....plot's cliche and yetsimilar to another episode, most of the characters are now unlikeable.....for now, dialogue's awful.....except Tootie and Mark......, and worst of all, the ending and possibly the ending of season 7, which is outrageous. If the writers, and creators are unable to pick themselves up, season 8 might cancelled ).

Temporary Fairy ( 0/10 no redeeming values whatsoever and f*** you Timmy Turner for now )

Crocker of Gold ( 3/10; haven't saw it, but I heard it was terrible )

Birthday Bashed ( 1/10; Plot's retarded, boring, nothing that funny anymore, and...everything else ).

Crocker Shocker ( 2/10 ; Plot's awful.characterization were really worse. Not funny. Ending is also screwed up )

Well that's all I can list. I know it's alot and I am really sorry for doing so. But I was only expressing and sort of reviewing my opinion, and free to disagree if you must. Do not bash on me or stop watching FOP just because of me expressing my opinion. The FOP is a good despite the pitiful downfalls. If you want to watch good episodes of the FOP, try to watch Season one, two, three, some parts of season four, and some of season five.

    Here's mine: Season 1: Excellent.
    Season 2: Really good.
    Season 3: Good.
Season 4: Ok, but some changes are shocking.
    Season 5: Bad.
    Season 6. Horrible.
Season 7: Decent, getting better, some episodes really good.
Season 8: I think it will be good if the changes that have been made continue, and if the crew gets tired of making episodes about the same character.

    Best:

Any pre-Poof episode heavily involving Vicky, Tootie, Norm, or Mr. Turner

    Also Channel Chasers

    Worst:

Everything from Poof's birth and beyond, with a slight exception granted to He Poofs He Scores and Frenemy Mine.

The studio swap did a number on this show I'm afraid. I've been looking at a lot of Pre-Poof and Post-Poof episodes while doing my image galleries at the FOP wiki, I swear its like watching two entirely different shows but with the same characters.

^I definitely agree with you about that last part. When I watch FOP nowadays, I feel like I'm watching a spin-off version of it, not the actual show. Although I like Poof, there are too many things from the earlier seasons that are still missing for me to feel completely normal watching it.

Yeah, when I say I dislike the Post-Poof episodes, its not even really because of Poof. Though he is quite limited and frankly, his episodes are boring and are all essentially ripoffs of that Tiny Toons skit where the dog would have to watch an overly curious kid, he is not the central problem to what pretty much put FOP in the dark ages.

    Heres what I think...

The jokes got really unfunnyunless its a dedicated joke factory like Crocker or Dad, but even they got extremely overused in the last two seasons to the point where the funny was sucked dry from them as well. Cosmo is just terrible and they should seek to limit his involvement/dialog in future episodes for the sake of everyone's ear drums.

The writing staff is just plain lazyand they seem to flat out refuse to study or even acknowledge any episode from before their joining of the show (pre-Poof stuff). That guy I like to name especially annoys me because hewas part of the pre-Poof staff but slowly became just as bad as his fellow writers. Many characterize based on what theywant instead of what the fans want.

Character varietybecame almost non-existent. Only in Wishology did they even attempt to put more than three unique characters on the screen at one time, and they stillhad zero interaction and all of them were only concerned about Timmy's wellbeing instead of their own, which is just absurd. As mentioned earlier, Crocker and Dad are overused, and even the Yugopotamians are getting too much spotlight over more deserving characters, solely because its easier to be lolrandom with them.

Recyclingmusic, plots, and jokes to the point where its hard to differentiate between episodes if you don't memorize the title cards. Even after editing at the FOP wiki for over a year I still get confused when dealing with Post-Poof crap. The recycling of music is especially annoying, Guy Moon is just getting lazy. Count how many times that variation of the "Crocker theme" plays as the title music for one of his episodes.

Shippinggot sunk. If you are interested in any couple other than C&W and Timmy/Trixie, then Post-Poof is not for you. Tootie is there, but her episodes simply got flat out abrasive, to the point where it felt like they were trying to balance out the widely held assumption that Timmy's kids at the end of Chasers were solely Tootie's, by giving Trixie nicer interaction with Timmy, while having Timmy literally puke at the sight of Tootie. All us Tootie fans got for our patience was a live action movie; I don't even think they can draw Tootie correctly anymore; and I sincerely doubt it will reveal Timmy marries Tootie like the plot hints either.

    And finally...

The fanbase gave uplong ago, after the killing blows struck by Wishology and the season after it. Fanfiction.net, which used to be one of my favorite FOP sites, gets updated once in a blue moon, and its usually the same three authors writing the same exactly terrible Wishology spinoff stories. As I've said before, the FOP wiki was completely dead before I took charge. Most of us know each other quite well because we are the onlyones left here. In the few active discussions about FOP that I do find, its almost always filled with people complaining about how Poof and everything after him ruined the show.

    ^Also I forgot "Cheaper animation"
Almost every show on Nick is HD now except FOP, and as Wishology showed, making it widescreen HD just means that you see more of the horribly drawn backgrounds, or the screen will be off focus on the characters (My Wishology image gallery I built drove me into a wall with this), but that still does not excuse characters being drawn incorrectly, designs either recycled from old, the new ones are stiff and only appear in one episode.

Recycling music isn't new, some of the background music used in the puppet animated series Stingray composed by Barry Gray was recycled in Thunderbirds like this one for example: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HcI-FuyDH0E Also lots of Hoyle Curtin's music in numerous Hanna-Barbara cartoons was re-used numerous times.

As for recycling plots, that nothing, the 1967-70 Spider-man cartoon, mainly seasons 2 and 3 supervised by Ralph Bakshi, recylcing not only plots but stock footage as well. The Spiderman episode "Swing City" was recycled into "Up from Nowhere" and "Specialists and Slaves" (who added footage from to "Cage a Spider" as a bonus). "Rollerama" recycled plot and sfuff from "Vine" and "Revolt from the Fifth Dimension" menaged to recylce stock footage from the Rocket Robin Hood episode "Dementia Five" including reusing the voice actor of the villain.

Seasons 2 and 3 of Spiderman was so bad, it's so good to watch.

It's difficult to chosse a best episode, 'cause I watch FOP since I was 7, I grew up with this show and I like it a lot.
But I can say that some of my favorites are Pipe Down, Where's Wanda?, Fairy Friends and Neighbors, Just the Two of Us, Genie-Enie Minie Mo, and of course, the movies from the golden years: Channel Chasers, School's Out and Fairly Idol.

It's easy to choose a worst, tough. As people said above, episodes got heavily worst after season 6, Some of them were pretty good, but some were awful. Here the worst episodes to me:

Open Wide and Say AHH! - For some reason Vicky wanted to kill Timmy. That was extremely weird to me when I first watched it. Scares me out that Butch himself was the one who wrote it.

    Mice Capades - Just stupid.

    Land Before Timmy - Boring

    Crock Talk

Timmy's Secret Wish (Second Half) - The first half was watchable, but the second half was confuse and boring.

And the worst ever, to me:

CROCKER OF GOLD - Leprechanuka? The Great Potato? Who the heck had this stupid ideas? Just ridiculous...

    3... 2... Eno... Go!!

    Season 1: Excellent...
    Season 2: Still excellent!
    Season 3: Decent
Season 4: GOLDEN ERA OF FOP
    Season 5: Not that bad
Season 6: Half bad, half good
    Season 7: What??
Season 8: Really, really, really bad.
    Live action #1: Bad
    Live action #2: Better

    Best episodes:
    Miss Dimmsdale
    Channel Chasers
    The Switch Glitch
    Frenemy Mine

    Notice how they are related.

    Worst episodes:
When LOSERS Attack - Crockpot wants to destroy Timmy. Off character. Vicky is the same (+no greed status), and we're going to get used to it. Now, tell me, who brought Foop into the equation? I'm surprised how they exaggerated Foop's character in the timeframe of 6 appearances.
Dunno what else. Most of season 6 and 7 to be exact.

Pardon me for quoting this now because it's been so long, but I know exactly what you are referring to with that. You mean Animaniacs, the show that came right after Tiny Toon Adventures. The overly curious kid was a little girl named Mindy, and the dog baby-sitting her was Buttons. Those were great shorts! And you're right, many Poof episodes have much in common with those. "Mission: Responsible" is almost exactly like them, but I think it was excellently done -it's my favoritePoof-era episodes. While I wouldn't want something like that more often, I do think that it was an excellent use of a cliched plot.

you know i never made that connection until you two pointed it out.

my fave is fairly odd baby (i know people are going to go ape shit because of this) i thought the idea of male fairies giving birth was an interesting yet creative idea. however the part where timmy randomly decides that water squirters instantly are clinged to a gender (which is noot true being female i have in all honestly played with water guns as a child) is the part that pissed me off (i absolutely loved the kids next door reference with the ice cream monster however as i loved kids next door growing up) plus it has anti cosmo in it who can all honestly hate him?

That's not what I find unbelieveable about Foop. My problem was in "Timmy's Secret Wish" when Foop failed to notice (until Jorgen pointed that out) that, since he only came into existence because Poof did, that meant he couldn't get Poof erased without getting himself erased as well.

And now, I get to understand my opinion of that episode.

It felt like... Whenever I watch it, I feel like I spent 5 minutes watching it rather than the usual 11 minutes. The plot seems really that short, and this is the reason I pick it as a worst. One character still swayed off character like before, but that character had clearly intended for it unlike last time.

If you ever see the title card saying "Vicky Gets Fired", then that's what I'm talking about.
