The Fairly Odd Parents have done an episode where most of it was quiet, one where most of it was in black-and-white, and now, an episode where most of it is in total darkness. It's kind of interesting how they keep doing episodes like that. Unfortunately this episode did not do much for me. I think it was a little predictable that Cosmo and Wanda were pretending to be monsters to scare Timmy, and make him realize scaring Poof isn't nice. I laughed at Chet Ubetcha, and Cosmo being scared of the book because it had words in it, but the rest of the episode, to me, seemed pretty forgettable to be honest. Definitely not one of my favorite episodes or anything like that.moreless
  • One of the best birthday presents I've ever gotten from Nickelodeon was an awesome new FOP episode "Lights Out"

    10
Today is my birthday and this new FOP episode "Lights Out" premiered on my birthday which was awesome because I really enjoyed it and Nickelodeon delivered me an awesome FOP episode as my birthday present. I don't know why this episode got low ratings though. Yeah, I agree that some of the scenes didn't make sense but if you look past that, it's actually an awesome episode. I also really enjoyed this episode because it reminds alot like the SpongeBob SquarePants episode "Squidward in Clarinetland". I thought it was very creative and wacky fun for the writers to make most of the scenes dark (a.k.a. lights are out and all you see are eyeballs in most of the parts). I laughed when Cosmo said "No, the story is so horrible because it has words in them". Chet Ubetcha's part in this episode was funny. I also thought that Crocker's part in this episode was hilarious. I was hoping not to see Tootie in this episode since she is the least enjoyable character in this cartoon but she surpringly didn't get on my nerves in this episode. All of the wacky and crazy things that happened throughout this episode was creative and wacky. You don't have to agree since this episode got low ratings but I really enjoyed it. Overall, the new FOP episode "Lights Out" is one of the best birthday presents I've ever gotten from Nick... I bet you're wondering why did tigerdude22 say ONE OF? Well... read my next review "Dad Overboard" (new FOP episode) and find out. 10/10moreless
  • A new low for FOP....

    7.5
Timmy scares Poof with a super scary story and then wishes for 12 hours of darkness because Poof's crying kept him up al night. Wanda tells him a story about fairies mutating nto "Scary Fairies". TImmy doesn't buy it. 10 hours later, he finds humself in a cauldron. He buys it.

C&W follows him all thorugh Dimmsdale until he hits a wall of love Tootie build and goes to the hospital. He was unconisoius for an hour. Then at the hospital Crocker wants fairies, Mom and Dad want to eat his son's brain (maybe, they chase him for no reason), the saber toothed tigers with night vision want meat, Cosmo and Wanda want meat too, and Tootie wants to knock out Timmy with an oar to give him CPR.

At the roof, it's just time for the darkness to end, and apparently to heal Mom & Dad, teleport Timmy to his house, etc. Turns out Wanda faked it (not what you think, perv!) to scare Timmy and teach him not to scare Poof. Then he falls down the hill (long story) and Tootie runs to give him CPR (Yay! Timmy's unconsious again! - ok, I laughed at that)

Overall: It was a pretty bad outing of FOP. IT had a non-cohesive story, and psycho Tootie was back (bad characterization...) So 7.5/10.moreless
