  • Villians take over Dimmsdale and Timmy must fight them without powers.

I am a big Fairly Odd Parents fan and I love pretty much every episode, but I really, really hate this episode. Nick advertized it to be an amazing action packed superhero episode, and what we got was well... a superhero episode that was sub-par. The fighting was so minimal that if you blink you miss it, and no I don't count what they did with the "everyday heros" to be fighting. The big lesson of the episode is that you don't have to be super to be a hero. Now I am a big advocate of putting lessons into television shows as long as their suddle and in this episode the lesson is anything but. I'm sorry but I really think this is the worst episode, in my opinion.

On a side note it is nice to see some continuity.moreless

  • Good episode.

    8.9
This is a great episode because Timmy gets tired of being normal and wishes that everybody in the entire world were superheroes and when he goes to school everybody were transformed into heroes to fight crime and the school floated in mid air with a cape and everything. The world Timmy thought that was perfect until he figures out that he made villains too with Crocker, Vicky and Francis. Also the Crimson Chin comes to save them without they knowing he's the Nega Chin. Later the arrive at the Nega Chin's lair and fight them without having no powers at at after Timmy made a mistake. Then they beat them and the world returns too normal and the Nega Chin goes to find the creator of the comic book.moreless
  • Probably my favorite FOP episode.

    9.0
I love this episode. This time, Timmy wishes that life was like a comic book, but then he realizes in the comic boo world, their's not only superheroes, but also supervillains. The superheroes and super villains starts fighting each other until Timmy decides to change the world back to normal with a wish from Cosmo and Wanda. But then the Nega Chin closes his mouth to make it sound like he only wants the superheroes gone. After that all the superheroes (Even real superheroes, like the Crimson Chin) turns back to normal. I won't spoil the rest the plot to those who hasn't seen this episode.

I like this episode so much because I just find the superhero and supervillain plot so interesting. The superhero and supervillain alter-egos really fit their character. Like Francis fits The Bull-E and Trixie fits Wonder Girl. It was weird how Hawk Girl (Veronica) wasn't a real superhero at all.moreless

  • NOTES (7)

  • ALLUSIONS (16)

    • Bull-E: Name and Powers
Bull-E is a play on the word "bully" and the character parodies Rhino, a villain from Spider-Man. He has super strength.

    • When the people attack the villians while The Nega Chin's in the bathroom, it's just like when George And Harold attack the robots while the villian's in the bathroom in The Adventures Of Captain Underpants.

    • Vicky: Got Milk?- on your head!
This is a parody of the Got Milk? commericals for the California Milk Processor Board, especially the debut "Aaron Burr" spot.

    • Baby Shredder: Vicky's appearance could also be compared to Wes Craven's Nightmare on Elm Street slasher Freddy Krueger with her evil attitude and similar dress.

    • Kids: Appearance
There are kids in entering the school dressed as both "The Flash" and "Batman".

    • Crimson Chin: Frank Gorshin's Goiter!
Frank Gorshin (1933-2005) was an actor who specialized in impersonations. Also, he portrayed The Riddler in the 1966 television series Batman.

    • Villain's Lair: Parody
The lair is like villain's lair in the old cartoon Super Friends.

    • Hawk Gal: Name, Powers, & Appearance
Hawk Gal is an obvious parody of Hawk Girl.

    • Super Principal: Appearance
Principal Waxelplax's superhero persona, Super Principal looks very similar to Catwoman's.

    • Wonder Gal: Name & Powers
Trixie's superhero persona, "Wonder Gal" is a parody of "Wonder Woman." Trixie's costume looks very similar to Wonder Woman's. Also her powers of superhuman strength and speed mirror Wonder Woman's. In addition, Wonder Woman is "super popular" like Trixie, since she is arguably the most recognizable female superhero.

    • The Bouncing Boil: Name & Powers
Elmer's superhero persona, "The Bouncing Boil" is a parody of the DC Comcis superhero, "The Bouncing Boy."

    • Matter Muncher Lad: Name & Powers
Chester's superhero persona, Matter Muncher Lad is a parody of the lesser-known DC Comics superherp, Matter Eater Lad.

    • Professor AJ: Name & Powers
AJ's superhero persona "Professor AJ" is a parody of Professor X, the leader of the X-Men. Like Professor A.J., Professor X is a mutant with superhuman telepathic powers. He is also bald and can be seen levitating in a wheelchair, like Professor AJ.

    • Doctor Crocktopus: Name & Powers
Crocker's super villain persona, "Dr. Crocktopus" is a parody of Doctor Octopus, one of Spider-Man's archenemies. Crocker, like Doc Ock, had mechanical tentacles that he could control with his mind. He also has a bit of Dr. Strange in him. His costume and the fact that his tentacles are magic.

    • Baby Shredder: Name & Powers
Vicky's super villain persona, "The Baby Shredder" is a parody of Wolverine from X-Men. Vicky had the same three unbreakable, retractible, metal claws on each hand, like Wolverine. In addition, her hairstyle was similar to Wolverine's.

    • Cosmo: For Kibbles!
This seems to be a reference to the graphic novel, "Super Diaper Baby," Billy Hoshkin's dog, Diaper Dog, often mentions that he wants Kibbles throughout the comic book.
