  • Timmy goes to the past to see what makes his teacher crazy.

I didn\\\'t like this episode too much cause everything went bad to Timmy but I liked it cause it showed that Timmy made Denzel a crazy person. This cartoon is one of my favorite cartoons ever! It still is very very very funny! My favorite part was when Mr. and Mrs. Turner showed all the pink things and Timmy said that now he knew where the pink cap came from
  • The history of Denzel Crocker.

    8.5
March 15th is Denzel Crocker's worst day of the year. The kids at school run and hide when Crocker gets there. He's so angry, he punishes the kids. But why? Timmy decides to go back in time to find out why Crocker is so angry and obsessed with fairy godparents. First they go back to the 90's where Crocker is a teacher and freaks fro fairies. Then back to the 80's where Crocker is in college. He is going to give a lecture on his most important discovery. At the beginning of his speech, everyone, including the military investors, is ready to buy it. When he talks about fairies, everyone laughs at Crocker revealing that it is the second worst day of his life. In 1972, they see Crocker as a kid in school and 10 years old. He saves Timmy's dad and the mayor declares March 15 Denzel Crocker Day. Young Denzel has fairy godparents who happen to be Cosmo and Wanda, but neither one remember being his fairies. Denzel gives his speech but Timmy is afraid that he will reveal his secret. In trying to stop Denzel, Timmy reveals Denzel's secret because Cosmo turned the microphone on again. Crocker instantly goes from being a normal kid to a hunchback with bad teeth and an ear on his neck, beginning his obsession with fairy godparents.moreless

  • Great episode

A lot about Crocker's past is revealed in this episode. Crocker may be pretty crazy, but I found this episode pretty good.

It's March 15th, everybody, the day Crocker is at his meanest. Yet, people still don't know "why" he's at his meanest. Timmy decides to explore Crocker's past for some information. He will be finding out about some of Crocker's secrets, and why he's always miserable, and why he's always addicted to talking about Fairies.moreless
  • A lot about crocker is revealed

    10
We learn alot about Dinzel Crocker in this episode, we lean why hes fairy obsessed, why hes so mean, and why he still lives with his mother.

Mr crocker was much like Timmy is, He had a parent that didn't pay much attention to him, an evil babysitter, who happened to be named Vick, and Fairy Godparents, who happened to be Cosmo and Wanda.

This episode was funny, a personal favorite, I liked how Timmy pulled a "Crocker" when he said Fairy Godparents, and even though Crocker is a nut, hes one of my favorite Characters, manly because he's so funny, its also intresting to know that Crocker wasn't always mean, That the events that happened to him on March 15th losing his godparents, an angry mod chasing him, and being laughed at in college, trying to prove fairy godparents exist, whould turn anyone bitter.

A great episode, that was a worthly classic.moreless

FILTER BY TYPE

  • TRIVIA (14)

    • In Father Time, Timmy's parents were in love since they were children, but in this episode, they met at Mr Crocker's announcement. Also in Father Time, Timmy's father as a child said that he (meaning Timmy's father) went by "Dad" as a nickname, but he didn't like being called "Dad" in this episode.

    • It is revealed that Timmy Turner was the reason Denzel lost his fairies, although 70's Cosmo is also to blame by turning on the microphones.

    • March 15, 1972 is the date that Denzel Crocker lost Cosmo and Wanda as his fairy godparents and became a hunchback, lost his hair, and his other defects that came from the lazer used by Jorgen to wipe Crocker's memory.

    • The reason the Dinklebergs live next door to the Turners because Timmy's dad took the For Sale sign in front of there house and tossed it backwards, landing in the neighboring plot in which the Dinklebergs pulled up and bought the house.

    • Look Close: If you pay attention to the Denzel's shadow while he's giving his speech, during the whole thing, his shadow's mouth stays in one postion.

    • When Timmy, Cosmo, and Wanda travel to the 80's, you can see the check that the scientist is holding says that the date is March 15, 1983.

    • Crocker's car's licence plate reads "FAIRIES"

    • Crocker had an evil babysitter named Vick who would apperantly later become Vicky's father, or so we can assume.

    • Timmy's principal was once in love with Crocker.

    • Geraldine is the name of Timmy's principal.

    • Dinkleberg was once the boyfriend of Timmy's mom.

    • Timmy's dad was once a janitor.

    • This is where we learn why Timmy's hat is pink. It is because Timmy's parents thought that he was a girl until he was born.

    • When Timmy, Cosmo, and Wanda land in the 1980's, you see the Delorean time machine from Back to the Future shoot off into time. But the Delorean just sits there, and then goes through time. The Delorean time machine is supposed to reach 88 mph before time travelling.

  • QUOTES (28)

  • NOTES (11)

  • ALLUSIONS (12)

    • Belinda Carlisle:
In the 80's, Crocker's School's Auditorium's Name is Belinda Carlisle Auditorium, which is a reference to the singer Belinda Carlisle

    • The Secret Origin of Denzil Crocker: Title
The title could allude to the late 1990's series on Nickelodeon "The Secret World of Alex Mack" which was about a girl with mysterious powers that she had to keep secret.

    • DeLorean:
When Timmy, Cosmo and Wanda travel to the 80's, you see a DeLorean time travel right before they arrive at Dimmsdale University.
The car is of course from the classic 80's movie, Back to the Future.

    • Timmy: It's March 15th!!!
It's pretty ironic that Crocker Day is on March 15th, since March 15th is "The Ides of March", the day Julius Caesar was killed back in 44 B.C. It's considered a day of bad luck.

    • Crocker: Slideshow Ending
Crocker's slideshow ended with a slide that said 'The End - A Denzel Crocker Production'. This could be a spoof of the slides at the end of all those old Disney films that say, "The End - A Walt Disney Production."

    • U-Lug: Reference
In the scene when they see Crocker get his teaching job and Timmy's parents have a moving truck full of girly things, it says U-Lug on the side of the truck. That is a spoof of a moving compony called U-Haul.

    • Bumper Sticker: Clinton/Gore
When Timmy goes back to 1992 we see a Clinton-Gore sticker on the bumper of a car just before Timmy bursts through. This is in reference to the election of Clinton who would become president that year and Gore became his vice president.

    • Dad: She's a maniac.
Dad says this when Mom is dancing in place then sits down and water splashes on her. This is in reference to the popular 80s movie Flashdance. The song, Maniac was used in that movie.

    • Icon: Smiley Face
A smiley face is put on Timmy's shirt so he can blend in to the people of the 70s. The smiley face was created in the 1970s and quickly became a popular icon. The smiley faces are still popular today.

    • Cosmo: To the Eighties!
You see a shot of the school in the eighties. In front of the school is the DeLorean from Back to the Future. Right before Timmy, Cosmo, and Wanda get there with the scooter, the car goes into the future and leaves behind flame tracks, just like in the movie.

    • General: He was supposed to Blind us with Science
This line is a refrence to the song She Blinded Me with Science.

    • Jorgen: Denzel, you will forget you had Godparents!
The way that Jorgen and the fairies in black made Denzel and the other people forget about fairies, is the same way they did in Men In Black.
