The strength of this episode lies in the guest stars. With Michael Douglas and Donna Mills, how can you go wrong? He plays the soldier who has gone AWOL, robs a bank to let society know he exists. She plays the richkid-dropout who at first admires the rebel in him, until she witnesses his violence, then she wants out. The 50\'s and 60\'s were filled with ex-movie stars who turned to the \"new\" midium of tv, and that\'s why so many shows drew an audience. There also was the opportunity for up-and-coming players to cut their teeth in the business like James Woods/ Robert Redford/ Robert Duval and Martin Sheen, to name afew. That\'s why this episode is good w/Douglas and Mills.moreless
