      • When is a murder not a murder? This is what Jim Rhodes must unravel when all of the surface evidence point towards a suspect.

Rhodes and Erskine do ride in a (Los Angeles?) sheriff's helo.

      • Quinn Martin had an eye for reliable actors, and he liked to re-use many of them in different roles within a series. However, when an actor was unavailable for a return appearance in a recurring role, this part would be recast. Maybe due to its nine-year run, this became something of a common practice with "The F.B.I.". Another show doing its best to confuse viewers this way is "Law & Order".

      • This marks the first appearance of Douglas Henderson as recurring character Special Agent in Charge Bryan Durant, a role taken over by Dean Harens after the first season.
