The Fearing Mind

ABC Family (ended 2000)
EDIT

Show Summary

  • Ended
Bill Fearing, a famous writer of suspense thrillers and a devoted, albeit sometimes overly-anxious, family man living with his wife, teenage daughter and irksome mother-in-law.

This uniquely formatted series intertwines the continuing story of the Fearing family with the novel or short story Bill Fearing is currently writing. The process of conceiving his suspense novels affects his family as much as those stories find their inspiration from his own personal life. In each episode, Bill's family saga and the current thriller in his life are seamlessly blended together through intelligent and creative transitions.

Although the series was set in a small Oregon town, it was filmed in Vancouver, British Columbia. The first 6 episodes aired in the United States on Fox Family in 2000. All 13 episodes eventually made their way to BookTV in Canada and to Mediaworks Channel i station in Singapore, where the remaining 7 episodes were aired.moreless

Borderline acceptable. How far down has television sunk to these days. Not to disrespect the creators of The Fearing Mind but I guess it's simply the trend of tv these days (nothing good on.) Time poorly wasted. This show is not nice, but the borderline of the story is acceptable.
