  • Finally we're caught up - mostly!

I really enjoyed this episode. We're finally up to date on the whole Martin Moxon suicide thing - at least as up to date as we're going to get. The closure on that piece of the Sarah Holt case is nice movement forward in the backstory. The focus of the show was the Holt case and Kinross & Clark's attempt to explain it all away. Mitch doesn't buy the whitewashed story and is determined to continue digging into Moxon's cryptic list, which Abby and Tammy finally decipher.

The case of Dr. Richard Kellner, a man who fell in love with the executive of a rival company is in court seeking an injunction against his former lover's company, who is now developing his promising Alzheimer's drug. He wins the injunction only to be told that his company us being bought out so they will get access to the drug anyway, There's an amazing and heartwarming twist to the story at the end which alone is worth watching the show for.moreless

  • QUOTES (2)

    • Mitch: (arriving at the office) Everything stops, no meetings, no cases, no business as usual, not until we find out who was chasing me and why.
Tammy: Well, good morning to you too, sir!
      Mitch: Good morning, Tammy.

    • Judge Alan Casey: Mr. McDeere, front and center please. I spoke to your assistant. She lied to me, counsel, gave me some line about you having a personal emergency. Nice woman, terrible liar.
Mitch: I'm surprised to hear that, Judge. She is actually an excellent liar.
Judge Casey: Which is it? Are you or are you not in a state of personal emergency?
Mitch: I do have some pressing personal matters to attend to, Your Honor.
Judge Casey: Really, pressing, are they? I'm retiring next month. My wife wants to sell our house and buy an R.V. so we can tour the country. I hate that idea.
      Mitch: Your Honor.
Judge Casey: My granddaughter left law school last week to become an actress and just this morning my doctor suggested I seriously consider an adult diaper. (courtroom laughter) We all have pressing personal matters, counsel, but this is your motion. If I'm here, you're here. Let's begin, shall we?
