I still find the forward story, so to speak, kind of confusing and I am glad that we are getting closer to it figuring itself out - only three more weeks to go.

This was a solid episode in that the Sanderson case was resolved and significant progress was made on the Sarah Holt case involving a very interesting and game-changing discovery.

The main storyline offered a young lawyer turned illegal casino operator who is on trial for murdering a gangster who was trying to extort his operation. He claims self-defense all the while being seriously less than truthful with Mitch. I didn't enjoy the storyline that much because of the lies and deceit throughout, nor did I like the outcome. There's enough in real life of people using deceitful and underhanded behavior to get away with things and I'd prefer not to see it TV programs too.

That being said, I really enjoyed the resolution of the Sanderson case and how Mitch and Kinross & Clark collaborated to bring things to a successful conclusion. The Sarah Holt case, which seems to be behind a lot of Mitch's upcoming problems (three weeks from now), took a couple of most interesting turns and I am looking forward to more revelations in it.

All in all, I enjoyed the ongoing storylines and 'secondary' cases more than the main one.moreless
