Mitch: We need to make a decision right now. Do we call Louis (Coleman)?
Ray: Or what? Work for the mob? Are you really considering this?
Mitch: Of course I'm considering this, Ray, because the alternative is to call my wife who has just been through a living hell and tell her we are running again.
Ray: So instead you're going to tell her you're working for Joey Morolto?
Mitch: Look, if we can get Morolto out of our lives, then maybe she will come back and we'll be OK.
Mitch: We want a meeting with the client.
Joey: I can save you the trip, he's innocent.
Ray: How do you know?
Joey: He told me. I find most people don't lie to me.
Ray: You took the case?
Mitch: I said we're in. We're out didn't seem workable in the moment.
Ray: So, you think Antonio framed Patrick but a couple of hours ago you were convinced that Patrick was guilty.
Mitch: It's possible. It IS possible, right?
Ray: Oh, yeah right.
Mitch: I don't care about the truth. We argue it, gets us reasonable doubt, gets us off the hook with Joey. (Ray stares at him) What?
Ray: Nothing. Just you not caring about the truth. We've, ah, come along way.
