Abby: That streak, that reckless need to know, to, to push for the truth, to get played and just come back and try to figure it out, we both have that. (laughs) We're a horrible team!
Mitch: And I love it.
Abby: So do I. I just needed a minute to remember how much. (they kiss)

Abby: So if we get Joey's friend released, he forgets the past and he leaves us alone. That's the deal.
Mitch: Yup. His name is Patrick Walker, he's a graduate of M.I.T., an economist at some think tank.
Abby: But that's just his day job.
Mitch: Ray and I think that he's the new consigliere for Joey. Louis and the FBI, they, they think so too.
Abby: My God. Louis, he knows you're doing this.
Mitch: Yeah. He, ah, he flipped out when I first told him but honestly I, I think he understands why I want to take the chance.
Abby: We can't disappear again, Mitch. I love you, but our marriage wouldn't survive that. And Claire...
Mitch: Claire, she can't run forever because of the choices we made.
Abby: But she will be, she'll be running for the rest of her life, unless we finish this now. So, I'm in. For whatever it takes to win this case and put the Morolto family behind us.

Judge Ken Walsh: (rebuffing Mitch's argument) Just keeping it real, Mr. McDeere. My daughter likes saying that and it turns out, so do I. We're adjourned.
