Trivia, Notes, Quotes and Allusions

FILTER BY TYPE

  • TRIVIA (1)

    • When Barry talks to Tina in the lab starting at the 7:45 mark, the clock in the background says 3:20. From then on, the closeup shots of Tina show the clock at 3:26 and the medium shots of Tina and Barry show 3:20.

  • QUOTES (8)

    • Monica: Your obsession with the Flash is going to get you killed.
Pike: Monica, we're two sides of the same coin...forged from the same fire. One has to defeat the other. But this time he can't win.

    • Barry: Hey, this is my old street.
Julio: Yeah, when you disappeared, Sabrina and I kind of took over the place.
Barry: You and Sabrina? You move in together?
      Julio: Worse. We're married.

    • Barry: You're not a judge! This isn't a trial. You won't get away with this, you hear me Pike? There is such a thing as justice!
Pike: In Central City, justice is whatever I say it is.

    • Reporter Joe Cline: (coming up to Barry after Pike was released from jail) Barry Allen, brother of the murder victim, what do you think of the judge's decision?
      Barry: No comment.
Repoter Joe Cline: And what about his lawyer's assertion that your brother was killed by The Flash?

    • Cop: Who are you? Where did you get this suit?
Barry: I happen to like red.

    • Barry: Wait a minute, wh--wh--why are all these people staring at us?
Garfield: It's because they know you're The Flash.

    • Barry: You have a baby? Congratulations! Boy or girl?
      Julio: Yep.
      Barry: "Yep?"
      Julio: Twins.

    • Alex: Has anyone ever told you that you have the sensitivity of a rock?
Joe Kline: Yeah, my mother, babe.

  • NOTES (4)

    • Julio shows Barry their own Flash Museum in the future. In the comics, Central City builds a museum to honor The Flash for all of his achievements. The museum first appeared in The Flash #154 in 1965.

    • When Barry is being arrested, a man on a bike throws a bomb into the cop vehicle. The ensuing explosion does not come from inside the vehicle but underneath it due to the easier placement and maximum effect of the explosive charge under instead of inside of the vehicle.

    • Time travel is a staple in Flash's comics. In 1961, the Cosmic Treadmill was introduced. While running on the treadmill, Barry would be able to accurately time travel.

    • Among the vehicles on Pike City's streets are Badsey electric stand-up scooters and a Fire Aero three-wheel kit-car.
