  • Quotes

    • Trickster: Sacrificing yourself for a lawyer? Time to rethink your priorities, bub.

    • Trickster: I'm gonna make you pay too, Allen. You and your little cupcake girlfriend Megan Lockhart. And The Flash! The big red freak! He'll pay the going rate 10 times over. Because nobody tricks The Trickster. Nobody!

    • Zoe Clark: You have to let me in. You have to. I'm carrying The Trickster's child.
Officer Murphy: Well you're just gonna have to carry him right back where you came from, lady.

    • Trickster: Maybe I should be defending myself.
Denise Cowan: Don't be a fool.
      Trickster: I can't help it.

    • Trickster: It's a beautiful day in my neighborhood. You want to be my neighbor?
      Flash: Stop it, Jesse.
Prank: The Trickster to you. And I'm Prank.
Flash: I thought Megan was Prank.
Prank: I'm Prank! Me! And don't you forget it.

    • Prank: (Prank tries to lift The Flash's mask) But don't you wanna see who--?
Trickster: He is the mask. Without the mask, he's nothing. Bupkes, nada, zip. Just some boring, average, insignificant jerk nobody cares about. He'll die alone and forgotten, watching game shows in an empty apartment with cats.

    • Flash: It's not guns that kill people. It's these little hard things.
      (throws bullets at Officer Bellows)

    • Flash: Hey, I could vibrate my fingers through somebody's brain!
Trickster: Oh ho ho! Gross. Well, maybe later.

    • Trickster: Are you prepared to carry out sentence, Mr. Executioner?
Flash: (speeds off and grabs multiple weapons) I, uh, can't decide which to use!
Trickster: Well. That's why they call me the hanging judge.

  • Notes

    • Prior to the premiere of the second season of the 2014 series, The Flash, John Wesley Shipp admitted he wrecked part of his Flash costume after this episode finished tapping. John ripped off the lightning bolts on the side of his head, being the heat was so unbearable while wearing it. The lightning bolts are now in possession of Mark Hamill.

    • The Flash's ability to vibrate his fingers through an enemy's head has been shown within his comics. In the graphic novel The Nail (1998), Flash puts his hand through the head of the android Amazo and removes its mechanical brain.

    • Mark Hamill reprised his role as The Trickster in an episode of the animated series Justice League Unlimited. The episode in question is "Flash and Substance".

    • This episode was released (along with episode 11) as part of a two hour movie on video entitled THE FLASH II : Revenge of the Trickster
