  • Fred and Barney secretly take ballroom dance lessons.

"Arthur Quarry's Dance Class" was recorded Aug. 22, 1960, and originally aired Jan. 13, 1961.
These are my comments and questions:
    1. The 1960 theme and opening credits are used.
    2. In this episode, you learn Joe Rockhead owns Rockhead Garage and is a volunteer fireman.
    3. Arthur Quarry is, of course, a parody of dance instructor Arthur Murray.
    4. Wilma had a childhood friend named Gussie Gravelpit. She is now Mrs. Beardsley Gotrocks III.
    5. The second appearance of Dino, who is red this time.
    6. The basic plot of this episode--a guy secretly taking ballroom dance lessons so that he can go dancing with his wife--is the same plot of the contemporary movies, the Japanese film "Shall We Dance?" and its American remake "Shall We Dance."
