Fred and Barney become part of ajury to determind the guilt of the Mangler a man whose big on size and small on his temper. When the guilty verdict was read, the Mangler voe revenge on the Foreman and that's Fred along with Barney. When he escape Fred and his family go into hiding. This was a pretty intense epsioode of the series. Even the music scre is creepy. Borrowed from "Johnny Quest." I like the music score. It's much better than in seasons past. I like the ending when the Mangler found out Fred's hiding and ends up on the floor, thanks to Bamm-Bamm's toy train.moreless

    • (Fred tries to pretend he's ill to get out of jury duty)
Fred: Good morning, Judge. I hope you're feeling better than me. I've been feeling awful lately. I think maybe I've got a sore throat. Look. Ahh. (opens his mouth wide)
Judge: You got a big mouth. Take two headache pills and sit over there in the jury box.

    • Lawyer: You've heard the prosecution tell a lot of lies about my client. Now it's my turn. I would like to call a character witness-- the defendant's mother, Mrs. Quartzstone.
Fred: What a sweet little old mother the Mangler's got, huh, Barney?
Barney: Yeah. How could she ever get mixed up with a son like that?
      Mrs. Quartzstone: Hiya, Sonny.
      Mangler: Hiya, Ma. How's Papa?
Mrs. Quartzstone: Oh, fine. Just fine. He'll be out in two years.

    • Lawyer: Now, finally, ladies and gentlemen, I want to ask you to look at my client. Does he look like a stickup man to you? Look at those eyes. Look at that face. Is that the face of a stickup man?
(The Jury Members, except for Fred, all raise up their arms and hands as if they were being held up)
Lawyer: Uh, your honor, the, uh, defense rests.

    • Jury Member: Look, Flintstone, for the 10th time, the police caught him at the busted window loading the jewelry in a stolen car. It took 12 cops to haul him to jail. Can't you get it through your thick skull that guy is guilty?
Barney: Hey, hey, hey, hey, that's no way to talk to the foreman of the jury. Let me talk to him. He's my friend. Now, look, Fred, can't you get it through you thick skull the guy is guilty?

    • Barney: How come I'm only throwing one shadow and you're throwing two?
      Fred: Because I'm bigger.
Barney: Hey Fred, go like this.
(Barney holds his arms up and wiggles his fingers)
Fred: Good idea, a little exercise.
Barney: There's just one problem, one of your shadows ain't exercising.
      Fred & Barney: THE MANGLER!
