  • Trivia

    • Fred mentions Santa Barbararock. Although their names are not mentioned in Fred's dream, the men he is talking to were real people, US President Lyndon Johnson, French premiere Charles DeGaulle, and dance instructor Arthur Murray.

    • The Beau Brummelstones are, from left to right, Declan Mulligan, Ron Elliott, Ron Meagher and Sal Valentino. On the drums is John Peterson.

    • Note the reference to the Abba Dabba Broadcasting Co., which manages to be both a parody of ABC and Fred's trademark 'Yabba-Dabba-Do'.

    • The BeauBremellstones were named after the real life group The BeauBremells. The song in the episode "Laugh, Laugh" was a real life hit by the real group in February 1965 going to number 15 on the pop charts.

  • Quotes

    • Wilma: Hear that, Betty? Free tickets to Shinrock.
Betty: What's the good? By the time we can get downtown, they'll all be gone.
Barney: Fred and I can pick'em up for you on our way home from bowling.
Fred: Oh, no, you don't. I'm not going anywhere near that Shinrock studio. Those kids might stampede and we'd be trampled.
Wilma: O.k., Fred. If that's the way you feel. Come on, Betty.
Fred: Hey, wait a minute. What about our dinner?
Wilma: Sorry, Fred. We're not going anywhere near the kitchen.
Betty: When you smell food, you and Barney might stampede and we'd be trampled.

    • Jimmy O'Neillstone: That new dance of yours. We'll call it 'The Frantic'. It'll sweep the country!
McShale: 'The Frantic'. It'll be bigger than the Jerk!
Barney: Hey, you hear that, Fred? You'll be bigger than a jerk!

    • Barney: You really got to hand it to Fred.
      Betty: What do you mean?
Barney: Every time he hurts himself, it's a new dance. He'll make a fortune if he lives.
