  • Alien clones are made of Fred (although I doubt many people used the word "clones" in 1963).

"Ten Little Flintstones" was recorded on July 8, 1963, and originally aired on Jan. 2, 1964. It is my least favorite episode of the series. I was actually scared by it as a child.

These are my comments about the episode:

    1. The Pebbles and Bamm-Bamm opening credits are used.

    2. Wilma calls Fred "Perry Bromo," a reference to singer Perry Como.

    3. Fred works for Slate Quarry Co.

    4. Fred thinks the aliens are his friends (Joe) Rockhead and ? Shale.

    5. I have to wonder if this alien knows Gazoo. Or did Fred ever ask Gazoo if he knew this other alien?

    6. I'm assuming that the person who did the alien's voice must have used a voicebox of some sort to create that weird sound.moreless
