This episode's plot is similar to two previous episodes - 'The Monster from the Tar Pits' and 'Fred Meets Hercurock'.
Fred: Hi, Barney. Sorry to keep you waiting, but that miserable boss of mine, (Slate appears behind Fred) that tightwad Mr. Slate wouldn't think of letting you quit a half a second before 5:00. I'm telling you, Barney, he's the meanest, most--
Barney: Ixnay, Edfray. It's Mr. Ateslay.
Fred: Huh? Wh-what? (turns around)
Slate: Hello, Flintstone.
Fred: Mr. Slate! Uh, hiya, Boss. We was just talking about you.
Slate: Yes, I know. Phone call for you...Slave!
Fred: Uh, thanks, Mr. Slate. (takes the phone) Like I was saying, Barney, Mr. Slate's a swell boss. Thoughtful, kind, easygoing, generous--
Slate: Knock it off, Flintstone, and answer that phone!
Fred: Y-y-yes, Sir!
Stony Curtis: Nice place you have here, Mrs. Flintstone.
Wilma: Oh, my, nothing really.
Wilma: Oh, would you care for some hors d'oeuvres? (rings a bell) Oh, Yvette!
Fred: Yvette? Who's Yvette?
(Betty appears dressed as a maid and using a French accent)
Betty: Oui, Madame. You called?
Wilma: Yes. Will you please serve the hors d'oeuvres?
Betty: Oui, Madame.
Fred: What's going on here? That's not Yvette, that's Betty.
Wilma: You're confused, Frederick. Betty is the upstairs maid.
Fred: Upstairs maid? We don't have an upstairs maid! WE DON'T EVEN HAVE AN UPSTAIRS!
