Fox's serial-killer drama The Following has a new leader. Jennifer Johnson has been hired as the day-to-day showrunner for the Kevin Bacon-starring series as it heads into its third season, Deadline reports.
Johnson steps in to replace series creator Kevin Williamson as Williamson moves on to preside over his new CBS show Stalker. However, Williamson will remain on board The Following as an executive producer and will still be heavily involved in the show.
Johnson and Fox have a long history; her resume at the network includes showrunning duties on 2012's Alcatraz, as well as a consulting producer credit on Touch and co-executive producer status on Gang Related.
Do you think Johnson can help The Following?
