is so then why the hell not just get the president of the united states to pardon carrol by special drecree, because the president is so obviously a carol cult member

As they noted an episode or two ago, they spent about three years prepping the farmhouse for Joey's abduction. Plenty of time to recruit a follower already in law enforcement and have her request a transfer.

Or they may have picked that area because Ava came to Carroll when she was already working there.

its my understanding that officers of the law are supject to psyc evaulation tests (FFD) in the usa, just as they are were im from. These test involve a psychologist, a device that messures bloodpresure while you take the test, and are to my knowlegde NOT easy to fool. These test are specificly designed to dectect employees with who are not at full mental health, just like a culm member would NOT be.

If they are a sociopath like emma and Joe, passing it wouldn't be a problem. Sociopaths are able to seem like they are normal when they are not. Also, sociopaths are very manipulative and are able to pass the test. Plus, if she was already in the force then they don't test the cops like every week.

Ok a psych eval is talking to a psychologist, which they do when a cop first starts on their job, no like someone said every week. Plus only 65 percent of law enforcement agencies use polygraph tests as part of the eval. And when they do use them the questions they ask are about Impulse control, General intelligence, Judgement Ability to perform boring or tedious tasks, Reasonable courage
Honesty, Integrity, Personal bias or lack of bias, Ability to tolerate stress, What motivated the cand, idate to choose law enforcement, Dependability, Ability to deal with supervision, Appropriate attitudes towards sexuality, and Prior drug use.
Unless the cops are under investigation by IA and either way they don't ask "Are you now in a cult run by a serial killer?" But also like mr_xses said in the case of that local cop she could have been recruited after becoming a cop. And than there is Roderick, who is a sociopath obviously able to act and function like a normal person in society

Most real serial killers in the world have very high IQ's, thats why it takes them along time

to be caught, because they are that smart. I have watched over 100 documentaries on

serial killers on YouTube & it blows my mind how high the body count is, anywhere from

30 to 50 victims. Its very shocking sometimes to watch, but people are facinated to watch

just like me, not that i'm wired that way.

Anywho, this show could have been so much better if they had made it a little bit belivabel, and made the cult more.... manson Family.

All in all: in my Opinion the following could have been better, if it had been made belivable but its not...

its on fox so a 2nd season..... Dont hold youre breath, is what im thinking....

It did get renewed for Season 2 back at the beginning of March. I really want to love this show, but the plots are so boring, and the fbi is always making stupid mistakes. I'm hoping the writers will look at all of the criticism they're getting from this season, and make next season much better.

Here's a link to the article saying it was renewed:
