The engine of this show is definitely the FBI and its fuel is finding things to bungle.

  • Episode Summary

Ryan set out to rescue Claire when Carroll learns where his ex-wife is being kept in protective custody. Meanwhile, Emma and Jacob are reunited, and Ryan turns to an old friend for help.

      Hi ,

Can you explain me , why they throw in a musical at the end with "Allahu Akbar" being repeated !!
    • Guilt

Guilt was a superb and very entertaining episode of The Following. I really enjoyed watching because there was a lot of character growth and plot development. There was action, drama, intrigue and suspense. I liked how everything played out. It was interesting to see how Joey was dealing with his situation. Claire made a decision that was surprising. I liked how everything played out and look forward to watching what happens next!!!!!!!!!!!moreless

      Love it
    • Everything that can go wrong.... happened !!!

OK.... so Molly is one of THEM.... and Claire is dumber than she seems.... and Kevin Bacon's character is turning out to be more and more silly.... well done writers and director!!! just someone answer me, why on earth did they throw in a musical at the end with "Allahu Akbar" (God is great in Arabic) being repeated over and over. That blasphemy was completely uncalled for and a sign of production-bankruptcy, at least in my view.... guess I'm done with show as well.moreless

    • QUOTES (5)

      • Debra: Amanda Porter is not exactly talking. Nah, I take that back. She's actually saying a lot.
        Ryan: What is she saying?
Debra: Well, let's see. Uh, she's a Pisces, favorite movie is The Notebook, she's an advocate for the death penalty. She believes in Creationism over evolution, enjoys 70s soft rock, and hates peanut butter, whole milk, and Anne Hathaway.

      • Molly: Tell me, what is wrong with this man? I need all the dirt before I invest any more time in him.
Tyson: Ryan? Cut your losses now. I'm the better man. He's a freak.
        Molly: Really? How?
Tyson: Oh, hand puppets. It's his hobby, fetish, whatever. He makes them out of rolled socks, puts on private shows. It's creepy.
Molly: I killed my friend because of you. I have a real taste for it now. I'd watch my back if I were you.

      • Jacob: I killed my friend because of you. I have a real taste for it now. I'd watch my back if I were you.

      • Ryan: I'm done, Joe. I quit.
Carroll: Oh come, come. That's no way to talk to the man who saved your life. I've allowed you a second chance. Don't you understand anything yet, Ryan? No, this is your story, your... your rebirth. Don't you feel it? With every death, you come just a little bit more back to life. No, no, you can't quit now. No, you're not quite yet the man you need to be.
        Ryan: You go to hell.

      • Tyson: You can let people get close to you. Look at us. I'm practically your wife--you haven't got me killed. We've been together over 20 years, I'm still standing. Nobody wants to die alone.
        Ryan: We all die alone.
Tyson: All the more reason not to live that way.
