  • The team gets called in to a train wreck where a young woman is found dead on the train with no identification. After initially revealing that she was murdered and not killed in the accident the team works on identifying her and finding her killer.

Finally this show reaches the point that they've always been trying to get too. They put together a story that was full of tension, empathy, emotion, and really grabs the viewer and pulls them in.

Adding Cuthbert really was a brilliant move, but the real genius was in changing the structure of the other characters parts. All six of the remaining actors come out their shells and really put together great performances. Not only Slater as Donovan and Cuthbert as Maxine, but Bob Stephenson as Walter Bailey, Michelle Borth as Candace Butler, Anthony Carrigan as Tyler Davies, and Rochelle Aytes as Detective Grace Russell. Everyone really puts together an episode for the best episode of the season. We have a victim who is a really great person in her life and it really makes you want to find out what happened and why. Eddie Kaye Thomas as Brice Walden does an excellent job as the sleaze bag CEO and Cameron Goodman is very good as Camilla Luddington who played the victim Jane Doe/Emma's friend Brandi who had just met her.

Bottom line is this is the kind of episodes this show needs to move forward to a second year. You feel like ABC really wants this show to make it. After the Olympics we need more episodes like this and a substantial uptick in viewers. Thanks for reading...
