Who was the Episode MVP ?

  • A great sequel episode

I loved how they didn't just throw aside the fact that Will was shot in the last episode but actually continued it! A lot of great moments, with a great story and some fantastic lines. The fact that Will actually wanted to get married to Lisa was actually pretty funny yet pretty sad. It was a feel good type episode
  • Will proposes to Lisa

As with previous times when this show would do a serious episode, generally they don't try to top it and this was exception. However they did surprise you with Will proposing to Lisa. I think that Lisa had the right reaction in that she was happy but didn't say yes. I liked that Lisa tries to spare Will's feelings until he was in the hospital rehabbing. You see the affect this has on Will when he goes deep into the dumps. probably the lowest he has felt on the show. Hilary's advice was correct (did I say that?) and didn't lose it luster when Hilary forgot who she was engaged to. I think what Hilary said along with what happened to Will is why he proposed to Lisa. When Lisa realizes this, she says yes. It was sweet how Carlton, Ashley, and Carlton were right outside when he proposed again.

Other funny highlights include when Jazz was messing with the heart machine, Will getting hit again and again by Hilary and Carlton saying nothing can happen with him and Lisa. Carlton has had feelings for Lisa before but I really like this never became issue.

This episode would be rated higher but you have to wait until further reviews come along.moreless

  • NOTES (1)

    • Will:"Stupid is as stupid does.  Didn't that movie make a half a million dollars?" Will was talking about Forrest Gump a novel written by Winston Groom that was adapted into a movie that starred Tom Hanks, Sally Field, and Robin Wright in 1994. The movie starred a man who had a IQ of 75 who accidentally witnesses history through the 1950s through the 1980s and meets 3 US Presidents.

    • Title: A Decent Proposal
The title of this episode is an allusion to the 1993 film Indecent Proposal starring Robert Redford and Demi Moore.
