  • To me, Bad Christmas episode due to OVERUSE of relatives

    3.5
I absolutely loved so many episodes of Season 1 and some episodes of season 2.

The one major problem with this season is the over-use of relatives for the show. This time it went too far. The episodes lack the magic that they have when all those confounded relatives are here. The thing is, we don't know anyone of these relatives well enough. The least that could've happened is that some relatives had some mentioning before they were shown. The other issue is the fact that the episode is centered around them and not our beloved Will, Carlton etc.

This time TOO MUCH! Get rid of the relatives so I can love the episode.moreless
  • Christmas Show #2

This was the second Christmas episode from Fresh Prince of Bel Air. I think this was better than the first. I enjoyed seeing the whole extended family. As had happened before whenever Will's aunts get together their "diva" reaction to each other and Will making fun of them is always great to see. I also enjoyed seeing Frank again. It was interesting to see Will's mom act all happy and not because of Will or joke at Phillp. They do a great job of setting up Vy's happiness in this episode. You will find out why later in the season. I enjoyed the robber. He was very Woody Allen like. I thought it was funny that after the robbery that Bobby was still playing his game boy. I also liked the ending. It was not typical Fresh Prince of Bel Air ending but good because it's a Christmas episode.moreless

  • This is one of my favorite episodes of The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air, My favorite part was when the robber came and Will had him on the video camera when he said " Nobody move this is a stick up".moreless

This was in my opinion one of the most funniest episodes in the series. It was really funny when Carlton started singing when Will wouldn't answer his question. And I like the part when Will turned up the music and everyone started dancing, except Frank he sat on the chair shaking his hand in the air oviously he doesn't have any rhythm. Some of the best episodes to me are when the family comes into play and everyone is gathering together for a special event like Cristmas or Thanksgiving. And one of my favorite characters on the show is the aunt Helen. She is so funny and plays all the roles she have well. I LOVE the Fresh Prince of Bel-Air!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!moreless

Carlton: Deck the slopes with babes in tight pants – Fa-la-la-la-la-la-la-la-la-la-la

    Carlton’s gonna get some romance – Fa-la-la-la-la-la-la-la-la-la-la

Will: No, you’re not ’cause you’re too ugly – Fa-la-la-la-la-la-la-la-la-la-la

They’ll all be in my room, cute and snugly – Ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha!

This was a great way to start this Christmas episode and the humour carries on throughout the episode with brilliant scenes such as being tied up with Christmas lights and the real estate agent/sheriff not knowing what a boom box is.

Will actually being right about not letting the guy in and not gloating about it is a surprising change in character and is still very good.

Overall, this episode is both funny and revealing in that Janice is pregnant and Vi’s got a new guy.moreless

    • Vy: Well Frank, how are you. It sure is good to see you.
Frank: Really? I thought you said "the next time I see that white boy, I hope he's under a bus."

    • (Everybody starts to sing)
Carlton: Hey, wait a minute. You guys are drowning me out. My gift to you is a solo.
Will: Carlton, you can still sing solo. So low that we can't hear you.

    • (after seeing Lester fall while skiing)
Bobby: Daddy, when you were rolling down that big hill, you looked just like Gumby.
Will: Yeah Uncle Lester. And you sounded like Patty Labell.

    • (the adults enter the cabin to find the kids bound and gagged)
Helen: Bobby, how many times do I have to tell you not to tie up the family?

    • (everyone is saying what they will give each other)
Geoffrey: Madam, Sir, this family is as close to me as my very own. My gift to you is a set of hand towels. I'm british. I'm no good at this mushy stuff.

    • Officer: Good news. We got the guy who robbed you.
Carlton: He didn't get very far.
Officer: No. The tire blew out on your rental car and he crashed into the Nativity Scene. Baby Jesus went through the wind shield and knocked him out cold.
Will: Ahhh. The Lord works in mysterious ways.

    • Will: Yeah, he will be carring a boombox.
Officer: What the hell is a boombox?

    • Carlton: Deck the slopes with babes in tight pants – Fa-la-la-la-la-la-la-la-la-la-la
      Carlton's gonna get some romance – Fa-la-la-la-la-la-la-la-la-la-la

They'll all be in my room, cute and snugly – Ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha!

    • Will: Yo my man Arnold, why don't you say Merry Christmas for the camera.
Arnold: Merry Christmas. (stuttering) Whoa - whoa - uh-uh-uh c-could I say one more thing?
Will: Uh yeah hurry up though. I'm about to run out of tape.
Arnold: Okay uh, nobody move, this is a stick up.
      (camera cuts off)
