The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air

Season 5 Episode 5

Fresh Prince: The Movie

Aired Monday 8:00 PM Oct 10, 1994 on NBC

  • Trivia

    • The mask Jazz has on in the final scene actually looks nothing like Brad Garrett. This is clear if the 'unmasking' shot is played in slow motion.

    • Goof: In the last scene, it's obvious how they switched actors when the mob killer comes to the pool house looking for Will. When the killer first enters the pool house, the mob killer is so tall that his head almost reaches the basketball hoop mounted above the door. Then, after Will screams, we see that it's Jazz wearing a mask, but Jeff Townes isn't as tall as Brad Garet and he doesn't come nearly as close to the basketball hoop as was Brad did.

  • Quotes

    • (Will finds his family in Alabama with him)
Ashley:(angry) The FBI found out that your hit man was going to try to get to you through us. So they put us in the witness protection program too.
Carlton: You see Mom, I always said Will would be the ruin of this family. But did you listen to me? Does anybody ever listen to me?
Will: What are you babbling about Carlton?
Carlton: Carlton? There's no Carlton here. Thanks to you, "Carlton Banks" no longer exists. He's now "Little Zeke from Cabin Creek!"

    • Will: (narrating, after he and Curtis saw Duke's dead body) I had never seen a dead body before. But Curtis sees them all the time: he works at the post office.

    • Philip: Where's the bathroom?
      Will: Through that door.
      (Philip opens the door)
      Philip: It leads outside.
Will: I know. And you better take this stick. Something is living in there.

    • Will: Uncle Phil. Hey man, what are you doing here?
Philip: I'll tell you what I'm doing here. Years ago, I fell in love with and married a wonderful woman named Vivian. Vivian had a sister named Vy. Vy gave birth to a child named Will, whose sole purpose in life is to MAKE MINE A LIVING HELL!!! Now you have done a lot to me these last four years, but how you managed to have me ripped out of my wonderful life in Bel-Air and relocated to this landfill BOGGLES MY MIND!!!

    • Mob Killer: If I were you, I'd run.
Will: If you were me, you'd be good looking.

    • Will: Look Jazz, I just don't feel comfortable telling you anymore, man. Who knows, your life could be in danger.
Jazz: What life? I'm a married man.
