In anticipation of Will's aunt arriving, the Banks gather in the livingroom. All the sisters are there for the arrival of sister Janice, who has decided to get married.
A young African American enters and the family assumes he's Janice's fiance. In reality, he's the taxi driver. Her fiance is a Caucasian man who enters a few moments later. The family is beside themselves over the interacial relationship and is having a difficult time accepting it.
The rest of the family comes around gradually, but Vy just refuses to accept it. She even forbids Will to attend the wedding.
The sisters meet in the kitchen in the middle of the night each going down for a snack. They come to terms with Janice marrying a Caucasian.
