There are definitely some real stand out good comedy in this episode but the new Vivian is such a horrible actress for the role that it really brings down the charm and the energy that Janet had. This Vivian attempts to be like Janet but completely fails and brings the episode to truly uncomfortable on a few moments. This really ruined the was still definitely funny at times.

This was a rarer episode that focused mainly on Phillp and Viv. You find out Phillp proposed on the TV show, Soul Train. The way he proposed was really sweet. I will ignore the fact that when Don Cornelius asked Phillp to decode the message, that there wasn't enough letters. It was funny seeing Phillp in a afro. It's mentioned before that Phillp had it, but it was still a sight to see. Again there wasn't much a second story. I liked that Carlton out performed Will at the end with his dance. It kind of remained me of what he did when he became a stripper. Other highlights include the man who was teaching Phillp to dance and Geoffrey in a 70's suit. Was it just me or was the costume that Geoffrey wore similar to the one that the man teaching Phillp to dance. Phillp's and Viv's song is a good one. I only wished that when Phillp showed up at the Soul Train Reunion that wore something more 70's.

Overall this a sweet of episode of Phillp and Viv.moreless
