  • Will meets Lisa's dad

    8.0
This was another fine episode. I have seen the whole series and it's a little bit weird that Will is dating a girl named Lisa with an overprotective father. (More on that much later) The dad was pretty funny. It's enjoyable some of the stuff he puts Will through. I like that Will is willing to go through with this. In the past he would've done this. The past experience where he nearly got married is why he wiling to put up with Lisa's dad. The only bad part that (again) there was no or little much of a B Story. Another great moment was the park ranger. You saw him earlier in the season when he er technician. i don't know if he was the same person or the person who played him was available but in case he's amusing. And yes you see him again. The ending was memorable. I liked that all of the cast members picked up everything while he was still in character.moreless
  • The Harder They Fall

    8.5
This episode introduces Lisa very well, getting right into Will meeting her father, with hilarious results, him being so overprotective, he verges on insane and Will being referred to as Wilbur was an amusing touch.

The Banks’ selfishness when it came to waiting for Will was a little exaggerated for their characters, except for Carlton, which is to be expected when he misses the Jeffersons.

The end of the episode with Will escaping and faking Lisa’s father’s approval was a terrific way to end the episode, showing a lighter side as he tells the rangers to just light up the hot sauce, one of them looking and acting just like the paramedic from “Home is where the heart attack is” though it’s not surprising if he got fired. Overall, this was a great episode but not one of my favourites.moreless

Will: I made it! I'm alive! (laughs) I can't believe it!
Augustus: I can't believe it, either. Your damn chute wasn't supposed to open.

    • (after the plane stalls out)
      Augustus: Uh-oh. The engine's dead!
Will: What?! (not surprised) Yeah. Oh, so I guess we're going down, huh?
Augustus: Faster than a bucket of chicken at Oprah's!
Will: Oh, so I should probably just confess all the nasty things I've done with your daughter, huh? Especially seein' as how in any second now, we're gonna be splattering all over those mountains down there.
(Augustus opens the plane door and is about to jump)
Will: Lemme tell you somethin', man. I'm from Philly. You have to wake up pretty early in the mornin' to get me with some ol'...
(the door slams, and Will looks behind him to see that Augustus is gone)
Will: Dad? Mr. Adams? Mr. Adams!
(he stays still and thinks, until he screams while the plane flies down)

    • Carlton: Oh Will, have you no shame?
Will: Of course, I'm ashamed of you.
