Goof: The door is locked when Will and Kathleen get trapped in the basement; however, when Uncle Phil and Aunt Vivian arrive, Uncle Phil simply turns the knob and opens it.
Goof: Kathleen reaches straight into the freezer and pulls out the can without looking, even though she has never seen inside before.
Goof: Philip turns the stereo in his office on even though there is no electricity.
Goof: Will says that Ashley is 9 years old in Bang The Drum, Ashley, but she's turning 12 years old in this episode.
You can see that on Jazz's wall by the door he has a picture of Hilary.
Goof: In the first shot where Will and Jazz walk in the door, Carlton or C-note as he's known in Compton, is not there. In the next shot, he comes out from the spot easily seen by the camera that was empty in the previous shot.
Goof: In the scene when Will went to tell Vivian and Phil about Carlton, Vivian took off the earring in her right ear to go get Carlton. Later in the scene, Vivian tries to go get Carlton again, and the earring is back on, but the left one is missing.

The episode title is taken from a traditional Christmas song.
