  • Will and Carlton vs Phillp

Will and Carlton have been living in the pool house for a while now but have not been paying rent. My only quib about this episode is that if the issue was about the rent, why didn't just Carlton paid it and be done with it. Of course if he did, there would be no episode.

This was a classic TV storyline where two stories are told but with a lot of lies. Both were very funny. I don't know which one was more (or is it less) believable. The only bad part there was not much of a 2nd storyline The ending was nice.
  • Will Goes a-Courtin’

This is one of my favourite episodes of the Fresh Prince because it is hilarious to see Will and Phil recount their sides of the pool party incident and Carlton’s attempts at going up against his father, which are hilariously unsuccessful. Teaching a lesson by taking the kids to court was an original idea that works very well with Philip Banks’ character and the witness testimonies were hilarious, both Carlton and Hillary’s and the fact that neither Will or Phil learnt a lesson was a brilliant end to the episode.

Overall, a very memorable episode with great jokes about Carlton’s swimming and Hilary’s pool house experiences makes for entertainment that always comes with the show.
  • This is a funny episode in the series.

In this episode of the Fresh Prince of Bel-Air (Will Goes A Courtin) Uncle Phil sues Will and Carlton for unpaid rent.

Will and Carlton throw a pool party and Uncle Phil sues them for unpaid rent. Uncle Phil didn't think that they were going to show up to court but they do. Will, Carlton, and Uncle Phil each tell different stories of what happened that night. The different stories and the whole episode itself is really funny. This is a great episode and if you are a fan of the series this is one episode that you got to watch. This episode is now avalible on the Fresh Prince of Bel-Air season 4 DVD which is good.
  • One of the funniest

This was just a classic. The banter between Will and Uncle Phil was spot on. The best part though was Uncle Phil in the court room saying to the judge that Will and Carlton would be at home preparing apologies and they entered in full suits with briefcases and sat down banged their cases on the desk and rested their chins in their hands in perfect unison with determined looks on their faces. The Perry Mason theme being played over it just made it even better.
  • Philip sues Will and Carlton for not paying rent. Reality gets distorted as Philip and Will tell the judge about their confrontation during a pool party.

This episode was a clever idea. Philip takes his son and nephew to court because they refused to pay the rent and on top of it, they hosted a pool party. Philip underestimates the guys while in court, but they stepped to the challenge.

The funniest thing in this episode revolves around a pool party that the boys organized. While Philip tells the judge about the party, he makes it look more liberal than what it was, picturing himself calm at the boys' disrespectful attitude. When Will tells the judge about the party, he makes the party look excessively conservative with them being the innocent guys and Uncle Phil behaving like an ogre. I really loved the way they picture their distorted reality. Really well written episode.
