The Funny Co. was an animated cartoon that aired in 1963 on American
television. The show was experimental and consisted of 260 six-minute
short shows that played in syndication. Each short episode focused on a
group of friends who had coined the name The Funny Company. The friends
wanted to become comedians and each episode focused on the group trying
to find legitimate jobs and make it in the comedy world. At the end of
each episode there was a two-minute educational short that reinforced
certain topics that had been in the news.
