The Garry McDonald Show

Show Summary

The Garry McDonald Show is a 1977 Australian sketch comedy series starring the popular actor and comedian. Broadcast on the ABC network, the series highlighted McDonald's characterizations, including his inept TV reporter, Norman Gunston, who covered the small factory town of Wollongong, and his impressions of naturalist Harry Butler and vaudeville performer Mo McCackie, which he had performed on his earlier programs "The Aunty Jack Show" and "The Norman Gunston Show." The sketch cast included Ric Hutton, Jude Kuring and Ron Blanchard.
