Garry's guests are Shirley Bassey, Dorothy Louden and Rossi and Allen. Also with regular Durward Kirby. Highlights: "That Wonderful Year" is 1956. All join in for the opening number is "Little Me". Garry and Dorothy play a couple at a summer resort looking for romance. (Done before with Carol Burnett) A parody of "The Jackie Gleason Show". Shirley Bassey sings "As Long as He Needs Me" and "I Could Have Danced All Night". A skit with Durward and Dorothy as a married couple having troubles, he is a "day" person and she is a "night" person. Dorothy performs "I'm Going Back" for the finale. Allen and Rossi do a take-off on "Marty". The finale has Dorothy Louden as a switchboard operator in "I Want to Be Treated Like a Human Being".moreless
