Garry's guests are Gertrude Berg who is back for her third appearance and Diahann Carroll for her second appearance. Also with regulars Carol Burnett, Durward Kirby, Marion Lorne and Allen Funt. Highlights: "That Wonderful Year" is 1937. When Edward VIII abdicated, FDR began his second term and the sit-down strike was invented. Diahann Carroll sings "Johnny One Note". Gertrude Berg sings "Bei Mir Bist Du Schon". Other songs include "The Lady is a Tramp" and "Nice Work If You Can Get It." Allen Funt has more of his new "Candid Camera" with Carol Burnett as the clerk at a trading stamp redemption center. Garry & Durwood appear as the "Bobsy Twins of the Stone Age" in a little old lady sketch.moreless
