Highlights: "That Wonderful Year" is 1931. The new dance craze of that year was the rumba, fashions of the period are shown and the opening day of the George Washington Bridge. A New York reception for Wiley Post and Harold Gatty after their round-the-world flight. Joe Williams sings "Keep Your Hand on Your Heart" accompanied by Count Basie and His band.
