Garry's guests are Carol Lawrence, Nancy Walker, Roy Castle and The Smothers Brothers. Also with regular Durwood Kirby. Highlights: "That Wonderful Year" is 1956. Garry and Durward read from children's books aimed at city kids vs. country kids. Carol Lawrence sings "I Could Go On Singing". The Smothers Brothers offer one of their patented lunacy routines. Roy Castle gives Garry a very thin glass loving cup, then reprises "The Clown". Nancy Walker appears as a bored wife on safari as Cliche Pictures presents "Lawrence of Nairobi", Durward is the great white hunter and Garry is Nancy's dull husband known as "Bwana Drip". Carol Lawrence performs her dance number to "Poor People of Paris". Nancy and Roy team up for the finale with "Show Me".moreless
