Alan King steps in to host for the vacationing Garry. Guest is singer Mel Torme. Also with regulars Dorothy Loudon and Durwood Kirby. Highlights: "That Wonderful Year" is 1926. Mel Torme sings "Someone To Watch Over Me". Dorothy plays Alan's wife in a comedy skit about a wife who insists on watching her husband shave in the morning. A mock trial is set-up "The Trial of Alan King" as the females are out to get him for his anti-female cracks. A spoof on a toothpaste commercial.moreless
