Garry's guests are Nat King Cole and Bob Melvin. Also with regulars Durward Kirby, Marion Lorne and Carol Burnett. Highlights: "That Wonderful Year" is 1949. Opening number production is "Comes Once in a Lifetime". Nat King Cole sings sings "Unforgettable" and "Cappuccina". Carol Burnett is in the sketch "The Tomboy" with Durward Kirby as her father, who always wanted a son and Garry is her first beau. Carol sings "Bali Hai", from that wonderful year 1949 when TV was in its swaddling clothes. Garry and Durward are two old friends who meet up again, but one is a hold-up man. Nat King Cole and the gang join in for the finale with the "Calypso Blues".moreless
