A very wonderful episode for all us romantics at heart. This one is more of a chick flic episode though. Caroline Muir has come down with a bug and a doctor is sent for a house call. Captain gregg unsatisfied with the Doctors evaluation. Sets out with his own home made cure. Once Mrs muir takes the "medicine." She falls into a deep sleep and "awakes" in a different time and place. it is the mid 1800s and she is at a ball with candle light and paper lanterns at Gull cottage. There she is the "ghost" and the only one who can see her is the verry much alive Captain Gregg. A wonderful bit of fancey very well written as most of the first season was.moreless

It's just that they can neither see nor hear you. Carolyn: They can't? Captain: No one can. Carolyn: But you see me. Captain: Of course. And a lovely sight you are. Edit
