  • A Dream Episode

Greedy Claymore tries to cheat Carolyn Muir into paying more rent. The captain exposes Claymores scheme.Though thrawted,Captain Gregg wants to teach Claymore a lesson,in not being greedy. So,he gives Claymore a dream in which Claymore makes a deal with an agent of the devil. This comes in the form of George Turner, played by Joe Flynn. His performance in this episode is good, but the stand-out performance goes to Charles Nelson Reilly as Claymore Gregg. This episode is the first time that a devilish character is portrayed.I would see this plot device used constantly on other TV Shows, and two Movies.By the time that this dream sequence is over,Caymore is repented. He gives Mrs.Muir,a new lease, with no increase in rent.
