    • The passwords used when April and Solo visit the Fortune Teller are, 'Gather ye rosebuds while ye may, Old Time is still a-flying: And this same flower that lives today tomorrow will be dying.' These are lines from Robert Herrick's poem To the Virgins, to make much of Time.

    • Mother Muffin says to Solo, 'Now cracks a noble heart. Good night, sweet prince,
      And flights of angels sing thee to thy rest.' This is from Shakespeare's play Hamlet, Act 5 Scene 2.
