The Girl with Something Extra was a short-lived situation comedy intended to be a vehicle for Sally Field. Sally starred as a character of the same first name who was newly married to attorney John Burton (played by John Davidson). The twist for the series was that Sally possessed exra sensory perception (ESP), an "ability" that generated a lot of popular interest at the time (the early 1970s).
