While Callie is taking her board exams, Jim investigates the murder of a woman who was about to offer an endorsement for her new surf clothing line to a local surfing champion. Jim is becoming annoyed over Callie's lack of contact so Jennifer attempts to cheer him up. With Callie in Atlanta and their future together uncertain, Jim has to make a decision about his relationship with Callie.

Terrible season finale.

That ending sucked since Callie didn't answer. It is a great show and I hope we will see another season. Didn't even realize it was the end of the season, not enough shows this year and why the heck is that?

This appears to be the season finale. 10 Episodes - what up with that? Kind of going out with a whimper if you ask me. You knew that he wasn't going to break it off with Callie but the ring/proposal was a bit much. Especially because he's on one knee with no answer for like a minute while the episode is ending. Makes me wonder if there will be season next year. I love the main character and thought him partnering up with the Jennifer Stark character nice. Although her premise for her being there was pretty ridiculous. Oh well it's like a B - show that I still like to watch.moreless

- The surf shack was built by the show's construction department and assembled on the beach for the scenes that took place there. During filming there was a full moon, which brought in the tide to form a tidal pool that came right up to the base of the surf shack. It was so close the crew had to dig a drainage ditch (by hand) to keep the water away.
