    • TRIVIA (8)

      • The last scene was shot at Hollywood Beach on the boardwalk which is also where the final scene in the episode Iron Pipeline was filmed.

      • The scene where Jim and Callie are at the hospital, watching Juliana at the pay phone, was filmed on one of the new sets built on The Glades sound stage. Production turned the interior and exterior of a corner of the stage to look exactly like a hospital. The hospital was designed to look just like the interior of an old hospital in Fort Lauderdale where they'd filmed before.

      • The scene where Jim follows a trail of blood was filmed in an area of Oleta State Park known as Gilligan's Island. It's a popular bike trail.

      • The construction, scenic, art, and set decorating departments added walls, doors, windows, and some distressed paint to a pavilion to create the shack used for Colonal Forey's Swamp Adventure. They did the same thing with the Country Crocker restaurant which was a French bistro on Oakland Park before the same crew got a hold of it.

      • There was a large, complex series of cables and pulleys that acted as a snare to drag Jim up into the tree. During various takes, Matt Passmore, who plays Jim, was switched out for a stunt double to make the scene look authentic.

      • The swampy dirt road where Jim's car gets stuck is just off of a path in Oleta State Park in Miami, Florida.

      • The scene where we see John Jackson's apartment from the outside was shot on location. The shot is called an "establishing shot" and it's usually a wide shot used to show the audience where the action is taking place. But the inside of the apartment, where Jim and Callie investigate, was built on a swing set. This kind of set has walls which can be removed, added, or altered. We used the same technique for the house where Julianna Amparo and others were hidden.

      • The boar was around 200lbs of silicone and padding and its blood was made out of corn syrup and food dye. The gators and snakes hanging around Forey's hunting camp were all made of silicone and plastic. No animals were injured or killed during the making of the episode.
