first i'll start with saying that this show has become on of my favorites, it is hilarious and sweet, i love the whole family and the entire vibe of the show, and do hope it will stay for a long time.

now i see that a lot of people are arguing about the timeline and how they keep jumping from 1986 to 1989 to 1985 in some episodes, i don't think that this is a big idea myself, i mean isn't the show supposed to be a bunch of stories? i don't think the writers worked hard on making it chronologically accurate, they wanted to get Adam's stories and make an episode out of them, that's why they don't ever specify the exact year the episode takes place in, even though they could since he filmed most of the events.

    what do you think?

It's not a big deal, because it's a case of "unreliable narrator" - these are his personal memories, not an accurate chronology.

That said, it's still weird that the latest episode (S02E03) featured the wedding of Charles and Diana from 1981, and the song Eternal Flame from 1989.
